In October 2025, Man O War GFC was rewarded for maintaining Healthy Club status as part of the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Programme. The club was recognised for its commitment to promoting health and wellbeing beyond the playing field, with a strong emphasis on community-focused initiatives.
Man O War GFC has actively supported physical, mental, and social health, delivering inclusive initiatives and health education designed to meet the needs of both club members and the wider community. Through these efforts, the club continues to play a vital role in fostering a healthier, more connected community for all.
We are extremely proud to maintain our Healthy Clubs status, and over the next 18 months we look forward to working towards achieving a Silver Healthy Club Award. We are deeply grateful for the continued support of our club members and the wider community. With this immense level of commitment and encouragement, we are confident that Man O War GFC will successfully achieve Silver status.
