A New Look for the Season – Thanks to The Man O’War Gastro Pub
The Man O’War Ladies team are proud to unveil their brand-new set of jerseys, generously sponsored by the team at the The Man O’War Gastro Pub.
Ahead of the upcoming season, the players paid a special visit to the pub where the jerseys were officially presented by Rob Masterson. It was a wonderful occasion and a proud moment for the squad as they gathered in the heart of their local community to mark the beginning of an exciting new season.
Community support remains central to the club’s success, and the Ladies team are extremely grateful to Rob and everyone at The Man O’War Gastro Pub for their generous backing.
The Ladies kick off their season this coming week with an away fixture on Wednesday evening against Ballyboden St Endas. The squad will be eager to begin their campaign and to wear their new colours for the first time in competitive action.
Team captain Ellen McNally, expressed her excitement ahead of the new season and her appreciation for the continued support from the pub.
“It’s a huge boost for the team to have the support of The Man O’War Gastro Pub behind us,” she said. “I’ve been part of this club all my life, so it means a lot to see local businesses backing the Ladies team. Training has been going really well, and there’s a great energy in the squad. We have a strong crop of young talent coming through, which is a credit to the hard work being done at underage level throughout the club. Everyone is really looking forward to getting the season started.”
