Man O’ War GFC Nursery – Building Skills, Fun and Friendships
At Man O’ War GFC, we believe that every child deserves a welcoming space to discover the joy of sport. That’s why our Nursery Programme is at the heart of what we do. Taking place every Tuesday evening from 6–7pm, the Nursery is designed for young children to begin their Gaelic football journey in a fun, safe and encouraging environment.
From the moment they arrive, children are greeted with smiling faces and plenty of energy. The emphasis is never on competition but instead on developing core skills, building confidence, and creating friendships that will last a lifetime. Because of this approach, our Nursery has grown into a wonderful community where children can learn, play and thrive together.
Importantly, the Nursery is also a stepping stone into the wider Man O’ War GFC family. As children progress, they can transition smoothly into underage teams with a solid foundation of skills and a strong sense of belonging. Furthermore, parents and guardians are encouraged to get involved, creating bonds that stretch well beyond the pitch.
Of course, a programme like this doesn’t happen without support. We are proudly sponsored by Moriarty’s SuperValu Balbriggan, whose generosity helps us provide top-quality equipment and resources. Thanks to them, we can continue to invest in our youngest players and give back to the community that supports us.
So, if you’re looking for a fun, active and welcoming activity for your child, why not join us? Contact Ciara on +353 85 224 0589 and be part of the Man O’ War GFC story. Together, we’ll build skills, confidence and friendships for life.
