Become a Coach

Man O'War GFC coaching

A chairde,

As we look forward to an exciting 2025, Man O’War GFC, is looking for your help to ensure another successful year for our club.

The success of our many teams in the club relies heavily on the goodwill and volunteerism of the many dedicated coaches and mentors.

With the growth in the number of players at juvenile level over the past few years, the club has faced the happy but also challenging task of ensuring an adequate number of coaches/volunteers to help train and develop some of our juvenile teams.

With this in mind, the club is asking for assistance from anyone who may have an interest in getting involved as a coach/mentor with one of our many boys/girls juvenile teams.

Volunteers do not need to have a child playing on a particular team, in order to get involved as a coach/mentor.

While knowledge of Gaelic Football is of course helpful, it is not a prerequisite. All volunteer coaches are given initial foundation level training.

Volunteering

Volunteering as a coach/mentor with Man O’War GFC, is a fantastic way to affect positive change in our community.

If you are interested, please contact Padraic, our clubs juvenile chairperson on 087-9741870
