Club AGM

Dear Members,

We would like to invite you to our Annual General Meeting. The AGM will take place on Monday 24th November 2025 in the Man O War Clubhouse Main Hall at 8PM.

 

In accordance with the Club Constitution and Rules, the Club is inviting members’ nominations for club executive roles and any proposed motions for consideration by the current executive committee, no later than fourteen days ahead of the AGM.

 

To facilitate this the specific nomination and motion submission papers are attached. The completed Papers must be returned on, or before 8pm on Monday 10th November 2025, emailed directly to secretary.manowar.dublin@gaa.ie or can be delivered to clubhouse 7:30-8pm on the Monday 10^th November . 

 

Positions open for nomination:

 

Exceptions being: The Children’s Officer, the Officer for Irish Language and Culture, the Coaching Officer and the Players’ Representative are appointed on the recommendation of the outgoing Executive. The Players’ Representative must have taken part as a player with the previous 48 weeks and is to be selected by the players (in default of such a choice, the Executive Committee shall select a Representative to recommend to the AGM).

Eligibility

Nominations must be made by two full members (which may include the nominee) whose membership fees are paid up to date in accordance with Article 6.2 (i.e. paid up before March 31 2025) and who are not suspended or disqualified under this Constitution or Rules of the Official Guide.

 

Only full members, whose membership fees are paid up to date in accordance with Article 6.2 (i.e. paid up before March 31 2025) and who are not suspended or disqualified under this Constitution or Rules of the Official Guide, shall be eligible for election to the Executive Committee.

We also invite motions for consideration at the AGM.

 

Motions shall be accepted from full members only whose membership fees are paid up to date in accordance with Article 6.2 (i.e. paid up before March 31 2025) and who are not suspended or disqualified under this Constitution or Rules of the Official Guide.
